Cork City Council are building 43 units of social housing on a site in Rutland Square. The development will consist of a mixture of three-bed 10 houses, 2 bedroom apartments and one-bedroom apartments.
The main contractor for the project is O’Sheas Builders, Cork and Jovin Projects will carry out the formwork. We will post regular updates as the project goes on.

Floor insulation laid and mesh and concrete ground floor screed poured on block B.

Things are moving on at a fair clip. Concrete poured on two blocks and insulation and mesh going in ready for floor screeds an another.

Pile cropping is well and truly underway and what a background with some vibrant graffiti!!!
15th November
This week has seen the piles cut, concrete blinding laid and the rebar prefabricated and ready to go.
9th November
It has been busy on the site, work has started on the foundations, and the first of the 230 piles have been put it place. We will be on site in the coming days starting on the pile cropping and formwork.
